LHRESINS LINHAI RESIN

Water Treatment Engineering Excellence

Advancing industrial water management through molecular precision, ion-selective control, and regeneration efficiency.

Mechanism: Ion Selectivity Dynamics

Efficient water treatment starts with the selectivity sequence. Linhai resins are engineered to leverage thermodynamic affinity so targeted ions can be removed even in complex water matrices.

Cation Selectivity

Fe3+ > Al3+ > Ca2+ > Mg2+ > K+ > NH4+ > Na+ > H+ Selectivity sequence

Higher valence and smaller hydrated radius drive stronger resin affinity and better separation performance.

For demineralization systems, our macroporous grades support higher diffusion rates and stronger kinetics under high flow or lower-temperature conditions where standard resins may lag.

Typical Demineralization Flow

Raw Water Source (High TDS)
SAC Column (001x7 / D001)
SBA Column (201x7 / D201)
Process Water (< 1.0 µS/cm)
Mixed Bed Polishing (LH-7715)

Advanced Systems & Efficiency

High-Purity UPW & EDI Systems

For semiconductor and power sectors requiring resistivity up to 18.2 MΩ·cm, we provide high-regeneration degree mixed bed resins. Our resins are specially washed to ensure ultra-low TOC (Total Organic Carbon) leaching.

  • Semiconductor Grade Purity
  • Power Plant Condensate Polishing

Regeneration Strategy: Counter-Current

Moving from Co-current to Counter-current Regeneration can reduce chemical consumption by 20-40%. By regenerating from the bottom up, the most highly regenerated resin stays at the outlet, ensuring minimum ion leakage.

  • Lower Chemical OPEX
  • Lower Sodium/Silica Leakage

Resin Fouling & Maintenance

Organic Fouling

Humic and fulvic acids can irreversibly bind to SBA resins. Our D201 macroporous series acts as an organic scavenger to protect downstream performance.

Solution: Alkaline brine wash
Oxidation Degradation

Free chlorine attacks resin cross-linking. High DVB cross-linked grades and pre-carbon filtration help extend useful resin life.

Solution: High cross-linkage matrix
Iron Fouling

Iron deposits block exchange sites and reduce usable capacity. Proper backwashing and reducing-agent cleaning remain critical maintenance steps.

Solution: HCl / reducing-agent wash
